Sensational vintage late 1970’s to early 80’s coat by Pauline Trigere who was known for her sculptural lines. This coat is fashioned from heavy black wool. It is accented with 3/8” vertical tucks – 3 at the back, 1 at each side of the front, and one down the outside of each sleeve. A tuck also goes around the stand-up collar. The coat closes at the front with the most wonderful metal buttons that are a blackened silver color and look like hematite stone. There are bound buttonholes – a sure sign of high quality. The coat is completely lined in black satin.
