Fabulous vintage 1970’s ladies suit by UK design house Aquascutum. This suit is fashioned from wool in a woven plaid of black, brown, and cream. The jacket has faux pocket flaps above the bust and vertical inseam pockets at the hips. It closes with goldtone and brown buttons and stitched buttonholes at the center front. Comes with a brown suede belt which may or may not be original to the suit. There are buttonholes on the jacket.

The skirt has three deep pleats at the front. The waist is faced with no waistband and the skirt closes with a side nylon invisible zipper. Both pieces are completely lined in black silky rayon. Note: The skirt has been shortened about 1 1/2” from its original length, but can be let back down, if desired.
