Stunning vintage cocktail suit sold by Neiman Marcus looks like a dress, but is actually a top and skirt. This suit is fashioned from a luxuriously rich brocade in gold and silver on a black background. The gold and silver fibers are real metal, not the fake stuff that shreds so easily. This brocade is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen with its deeply sculptured weave and subtle shimmer.

The sleeveless top has little slits at the side seam hems with self-fabric knots above them. It closes at the back with a separating metal zipper. The slim pencil skirt has a set-on waistband and center back metal zipper. Both pieces are lined in black taffeta.
