Gorgeous vintage 1940’s skirt suit has a menswear influence. This suit is fashioned from tropical weight herringbone wool woven with brown and cream threads for an allover beige color. It has a subtle red pinstripe. The jacket has a cinched waist and closes at the front with buttons and bound buttonholes. The hip pockets have flaps and the jacket is completely lined in taupe rayon crepe. The straight skirt has a set-on waistband and side metal zipper. It is unlined.
