Spectacular vintage late 1930’s or very early 40’s princess coat is fashioned from black wool crepe that has a pebble texture. The skirt portion is accented with the curving seams that are one of the hallmarks of 30’s fashion. The coat has a rabbit fur collar that is dyed to look like brown mink. The sleeves have thick cotton-filled shoulder pads and taper to a slim fit at the cuff. The coat closes with carved plastic buttons and stitched buttonholes and there is a single hook and eye that closes the fur collar. There is also an inner waist tie. The coat is completely lined in black satin and there is a padded cotton interlining for added warmth. This is a tiny size – please allow enough ease to wear over other garments.

CONDITION: Excellent – there is a bit of wear to the fur at the corners of the front neck opening. The buttons are showing some slight color loss.
